News & Updates

Thank you to those of you who have already supported our mission. We promised to communicate and keep you up to date on our progress so you may see where your dollars go. We have no administrative salaries so 100% of your donations go direct to these projects.

One of our early water purification projects was for Pastor John Mfuko at the EAGT Keo juu church in the outskirts of Dar es Salaam. Here is a photo and letter of thanks to Safe Water Africa:

“Your installation of water purification systems and two water tanks at Keko Juu EAGT Church, has brought a significant change at our church and the neighboring community. Our church is receiving new members due to the fact that the project is drawing people to our church to fetch water giving us an opportunity to share the Gospel with them. In addition to sharing the Gospel, there is great reduction of waterborne diseases such as cholera and typhoid in our area. The following groups are benefitting:
i) The community surrounding us.
ii) Pre-school children attending classes at our church.
iii) Our church members

The project has come at the right time taking in consideration that our Temeke District is among the most highly affected areas with typhoid disease. We really appreciate this kind of donation from your organizations and we pray that you continue with this service mission in many places.

God Bless You
Rev. John H. Mfuko
